The comments didn’t go unnoticed by the 42-year-old, who took to her Instagram story to shut the haters down once and for all.
Posting a no-make-up selfie onto her story, the star wrote: “The face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two pre-teens, one active boy, a 1-year-old learning to walk and three dogs… thanks for your concern.”
Lima gave birth to her third child, son Cyan Lima in 2022, her first with her current partner, Andre Lemmers. She also has two daughters, Sienna, 11, and Valentina, 14, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marko Jarić.
After her revelation, fans rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise the new mother for talking about the changes to her face/body.
“Adriana’s openness is inspiring and empowering for other women. It shows that even someone who is considered to be ‘perfect’ by society’s standards can struggle with body image and acceptance,” wrote one.
Another penned: “She is beautiful, always has been and continues to be. The truth is that a lot of people criticize weight change. They expect her, at 42, to have the same face and body she had at 19.”
“You have to be really stupid to criticize Adriana Lima’s face,” one fan wrote.
A modelo Adriana Lima publicou um story falando sobre as críticas que recebeu a respeito de seu rosto:
