Pete Davidson desperately trying to get his mom on dating apps after father's tragic death

Pete Davidson recently released his Netflix special, Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli, and he didn’t hold back, especially when speaking about his mom’s love life, or lack of, in this instance.

The TV star sadly lost his father, Scott Davidson, who died in service on September 11, 2001, along with the rest of his firefighter unit. Pete doesn’t hold back from speaking about his dad in his work. However, it was his mom’s ‘dating life’ that was the brunt of the joke this time. The star announced she hadn’t been with anyone since his dad’s death, but the jokes went a step too far…

Pete Davidson says his mom is ‘having a midlife crisis’

Pete’s mom, Amy Waters Davidson has been a widow for almost 23 years, as her son announces on Netflix that she’s having a “midlife crisis”.

“My mom’s having a midlife crisis,” he tells the crowd. “Uh, yeah, she’s really far up my a** right now. You know, she’s 55. She hasn’t been with anybody since my dad died.”

That’s when he starts to take it a little too far as he casually announces to the crowd: “So it’s been like 23 years since she’s, spread ’em, I guess,” as they burst into roars of laughter.

The 30-year-old reveals his mother wants to get a facelift, to which he hilariously responds: “For what? You don’t even use your face! What are you getting a facelift for, to watch Grey’s Anatomy?”

Although her ‘caring’ son is trying to get his mother to date again, it doesn’t seem to be working. “It’s been over 20 years, I’m tired of it! She needs to get out there” he jokes, before telling the crowd she needs to sign up to dating apps.

The SNL star says she’s been directing the ‘weird energy’ that should be used on a man on him, asking him where he’s going when he leaves her house after dinner. He then jokes it’s got to the point where he may do a certain something to get her off his back, that we’re not going to repeat.

But it doesn’t stop there…

The star’s ‘mom jokes’ don’t have the approval of X

Although we’re all aware of Davidson’s dark humor, it looks like X, formerly known as Twitter, also thinks he may have gone too far on the mom jokes this time, as they carry on throughout the night.

“Pete Davidson is so awful he’s literally joking about f**** his mom,” one wrote.

One confused fan penned: “Still trying to decide if the funny parts of Pete Davidson’s standup make up for the really weird mom jokes.

“I watched Pete Davidson tell jokes for an hour & I need to brush my teeth now. Also, he needs to get off his mom. He knows those jokes stopped being funny in 3rd grade, right? I will admit, I laughed when he did the telepathy bit & he ‘picked up the phone’ & made himself laugh, another tweeted.
